Community Service/ Manna House
Every year on Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter mornings, Brotherhood members start their day by helping those in need at Manna House, Inc. Clients line up outside in anticipation of the 8 AM door opening for a breakfast consisting of eggs, hash browns, sausage, biscuit, orange juice and coffee. INFO: Bruce Harris, firstname.lastname@example.org.
These guys show up every Sunday during the school year. While students of the Religious School and their parents are still 30 minutes from leaving their homes, the Brotherhood Traffic Squad sets up ... ready to roll. Upon arrival at BHC, everyone is greeted with the smiling faces and warm welcome of our dedicated men. Some have done this for many years even though their children are long out of school. Others are in their first years of service. They make sure that our children are safe from oncoming cars, while keeping the line of cars moving. INFO: Jordan Loran, email@example.com.
With over 50 ushers, Brotherhood welcomes our congregants and guests—making them feel at home at our Shabbat services. Additional ushers are always welcome. Contact Harvey Schevitz, firstname.lastname@example.org.
